We`re here in Osaka!

After a delay of an hour leaving the Gold Coast, we were finally on our way, to Osaka. The plane was far from full which meant I skipped across the aisle and claimed the 4 x empty seats opposite. This meant I could spread my junk out and also lay down to nap a couple of times. Pure luxury in the world of economy travel.

As Mark can easily sleep sitting up he stayed in our 2 original seats, being, an aisle and a window. We were a little unsure re flying with jetstar internationally. We found it surprisingly good for leg room. The staff were good and only the lack of available food was a let down.

As soon as we stepped off the plane we could feel the humidity. OMG... so humid here! Its also showering on and off to ensure the moisture in the air is maintained.

With the adivce from the info centre at the train station we walked to our hotel arriving finally at 10:30pm. We are one hr different to east Australia, so therefore 11:30pm your time.

we had to walk through some very busy areas and it was fun and interesting to see everyone out on Friday night. Our hotel is in an interesting area. Yes it is called Hotel Kinki, but it came with good reviews and rightly so. It is very clean and roomy for Japanese standards. However, there are numerous people on the street trying to `offer` the passing business men services. It is obvious from the brochures they are holding what services are being offered. It does ot feel at all dangerous and everyone is just laughing　ａｎｄ　ｈａｖｉｎｇ　ｆｕｎ．
