Prague - our last full day

After a slow start, with us all chatting and Mark & I enjoying the company of Sue & Di being with us, we shared a b´fast out before they left us for Sue to take Di over to the palace and cathedral and for us to do some housekeeping ie; blogging, posting stuff home (no you can´t open them Ashleigh)
We then met them on the far side of the Charles Bridge, in Lesser Town, (yes its official name... the poor bastards) for lunch. Sue had previously spotted a cafe in a quiet little square which we comfortably settled into at an outdoor table. We all loved the rugs that were over the back of the chairs for us to wrap around our legs and keep warm.
It was then a stroll along the river and canal running parallel to the river to check out this side of town. It was raining lightly on and off but too much to be a problem.
We shared another local sparkling wine before heading out for our final meal together. For those interested the Czech wines have been much fruitier than we are used to. Many were more on the sweeter side but still had a dry finish.
Sue and Di had an early flight this morning, having to leave the apt at 4:30. I received a call on my phone from Sue at 4:27 but heard nothing. I looked out the window in case it was that the car hadn´t arrived to collect them but they werent there. I thought they had already gone.
After a bathroom visit I noticed light coming under the apt door so opened it to see Sue and Di trapped between an inner door and the outside door. She had a similar look that Mark did on the platform in Tokyo!! They eventually got out and the car pulled up right on time. OUr apt owner had booked private cars for our departure. He was a lovely helpful guy.
We arrived well into Vienna now and will give you the goss on it soon.
Hope all are well... much love
D&M xx

Isn't Prague a great and beautiful city. I knew you would enjoy it. I am glad that you got to the Jewish museum, that graveyard is jsut amazing, I don't know how many photos I took in there. It's great to hear how much you are seeing and doing, brings back memories of my trips over there. All is well at home. Ahleigh and I off to see Guys and Dolls on tues night otherwise things just plodding along. Mum and Dad are off in two weeks and starting to get excited, the count down of work days has started and is under the double finger mark. keep the stories coming and travel safe.
