Very refreshing!

Ok.. so very possibly I blabbed on last night and maybe it was the choc martini talking. Also its a luxury to have a computer in the room so we took advantage of it as I am this morning before we hand it back.

I must say its very refreshing to travel in country where there is no-one begging or hassling us to buy anything. We can walk the streets at night without feeling even slightly anxious.

Yes it is as clean as it looks. Yes John, you would love it!

Good lord...I'm exhausted just reading all these blogs...but most understandable that you want to use your rented laptop to the max while you've got it.

You are haveing such great experiences & so out of the western norm....keep absorbing all those great things....before I know it, John will be planning for us to go over there!!!

Stay safe....eat lots...love Tina

Would you believe - Dad arrived at worked and asked if I'd read your latest blog! Boy, he's getting with the 21st century!

What great stories and you've only been there a couple of days! I think you can be my travel agents, when I finally get to organise my trip to Japan!

8 days till I move!!!!!

COOOOL
You saw Atsuco? And went to that cute tiny teeny weeny restaurant with the folks AND the same neighbouring guests at the next table? That's so funny. Yes Dominique, apparently some ppl think we are just a little bit alike. You are far more sophisticated than me though, I couldn't bring myself to try the horse carpaccio and stuck to the more recognisable dishes. Isn't Acco's dad Hideki delightful? Am so glad you caught up.

Yes Mark, if you were let loose with the saw to trim trees, well really-would we have any shade? It's all so tightly controlled there isn't it? So neat, so tidy, so respectful on so many levels that it seems ultimately to raise everyone's behaviour to that of...I don't know, what metaphor could be used. Perhaps an angelic choirboy?
Anyhow you sure are packing it in & seeing so much, you certainly did your research!
Wish I had some spicy news or snippet for you, alas I'm in Qld where as we all know it's beautiful one day & the next & the next. Oh, I know - there was a big fire close to us at Peregian Springs the other night, a bit freaky. And Anne-marie left Tonga 18 hrs prior to the tsunami, that was a bit close.
So here's to chocolate martinins, wooden toe thongs and the good fortune of travelling around the world meeting friendly ppl all over.
baci, m
p.s, when to the baths my dears?
